This week Mike is on the road meeting with colleagues at U. S. Wheat Associates (USW) in Washington DC. Dr. Jayne Bock and the technical team continue their work on the hard white wheat and hard red spring blending study with end product testing of bread and noodle formulations. Preparation for the approaching harvest and Crop quality (CQ) testing continues as the team meets with the Washington Grain Commission to discuss the schedule and review the sample collection process. The team continues interviews for a seasonal lab technician for the CQ process.
