This month the spotlight turns to Dr. Jayne Bock, Technical Director of the Wheat Marketing Center. Jayne recently celebrated her two-year anniversary, and her accomplishments are substantial. She manages the technical training and research program at WMC and works closely with Bon Lee and the analytical lab team to deliver projects of direct value to U.S. wheat stakeholders. She participates in the Idaho Cereal Schools, where she enjoys the opportunity to engage with wheat producers. Jayne can explain the function of the many ingredients found in common wheat foods like bread, crackers and cookies in a way that makes everyone look at the label with fresh understanding. She is a recognized leader in cereal science organizations and is a strong voice for the importance of wheat quality.
