Youth Education/Outreach

The Wheat Marketing Center takes its education mandate seriously. We host tours for many kinds of groups, from school kids on a field trip to Taiwan bakers looking to understand the farm-to-fork journey. We explain the different kinds of wheat and the importance of wheat quality, demonstrate production of crackers, noodles and tortillas, and answer many questions about the world wheat market.

We can also help arrange visits to related facilities including export elevators, bakeries and grain inspection labs. Depending on the length of the tour and the size of your group, we may charge a fee to cover our facility costs. But we conduct many tours for free.

If you are interested in knowing more about wheat, contact us at info@wmcinc.org.
